山间独行

人行八千英尺高度
烈日当空直射
世界一下子变得空旷
一种虚无缥缈的感觉
在空间和心间同时扩张

山间小路去向
一高山湖
处女般安娴
依偎在一座山下
时值仲夏
那里仍有大片积雪

孤独在这里不再抽象
倒像是不加掩饰的宣言
似乎为了让人看见
生命是如何穿越时空
从一边走向另一边

Alone on a Mountain Trail

 
At altitude 8,000 feet
As the sun positions itself
right above head
The world suddenly
becomes quite large
An emptiness expands itself
both physically and mentally
 
The trail leads, eventually, to
an alpine lake that rests
gracefully under a peak
that has snow patches
in the middle of summer
 
Loneliness is no longer abstract
It is so pronounced 
that one can see clearly
how life in this world must travel
through immense space and time
to reach the other end
