這是一首動聽的愛爾蘭民謠，為湯姆斯．摩爾（Thomas Moore）於1808-1834年間所作詞曲，原歌名若直譯，為「相信我，假如令人憐愛的青春歲月依然絢麗」，歌詞內容描述年輕歲月漸漸離去的感傷及對愛人思念知情，英文歌詞如下左，中文歌詞為海舟先生所譯，並將歌名譯為「依然在我心深處」，是為傑作，中文歌詞如下右：
