After Medicine Lake, we head toward Maligne Canyon.
On the way
The Maligne Canyon is so strange. On the ground, above the canyon, narrow part is only ~3 m wide. For sure I can jump over. but it is so deep, so scary....... My partner said it is "bu xiang hua de shen".
There is waterfall in the canyon, and the rocky wall is just breathtaking.
Then we went to see the big horns. Unfortunately, the male was not there, but we saw the cutty baby sheep, just beside the highway.
This mountain remind me of the Chinese painting.
Anyone here has geology background? OOOh, Mother Nature is too powerful!!!
I think such kind of terrain prevails in the Rockies. Actually the whole Rocky Mountains are a big ridge resulting from the collision between two plates, the Pacific, and the American.
