Here you can see a pretty lake lying at the foot of the front mighty rocky mountain (gate of the Tonquin Valley). Suddenly, I had an emotional rush wanting to jump in...................
Here it is.
Standing in front of it, however, I hesitated, hesitated to soak my body, or even my foot, into the water, not because it was icy cold, because it is too pretty, too perfect........... I, I just did't want to contaminate it, that is all.
Next stop is Athabasca Fall. On the way to there, I stoped once and took this pp. (there laways was a hue in the Rockies when we were there. It made the far mountain look like in a thin veil----- a beauty in veil.)
Here is the fall. With different angles, you see different faces, water and rock, of this famous fall.
Also this fall is famous for its colorful rocks along the water line.
Swirling water off the fall rushes into the canyon so violently that it seems boiling. That could be the reason why the water appears white and bubbling, plus so much water vapor.
