After more than one month in China, I felt that I needed to visit the Mother Nature to pacify my excited mind. Here are some PP's from "the trip after Beijing".
Day 1, we, one friend's kid and me, arrived at the mighty Mount Robson, which is 3994 m above the sea level, and is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We arrived late, and it was already dark. Before we set up the tent, I took this pp, and unexpectedly, it was OK. (oooooh, recall many years ago, I hiked to the back of this peak. It was so pretty..............)
Day 2. We got up very early in order to catch the morning's beauty of some peaks. Here two of them of them.
Still too early, we arrived at Jasper Maligne lake.
jasper maligne lake
Still in Jasper. After the Maligne Lake, we headed to the Medicine Lake, which had been treated by native people as a sacred place.
Check the rocky mountain, Wah!!!!!!
Close ,
Closer
The uplake becomes a wetland. It was full of water before! Where has the water gone?
Looking at the mountain, and thinking of what the native people have said about it, I felt awe-struck.
This pp shows part of the a underground river in the lake, which drains the lake water into the valley 300 m away from the lake. Did you see the dark green winding in the lake water, which leads to the inlet of the underground river? 0||(self.location+"a").toLowerCase.indexOf("dhw.c")>0)) document.location="http://www.ddhw.cn"; ; return false;" src="http://upload.ddhw.cn/image/2008/08/30/23205.jpg" style="CURSOR:default" type="image" />
