The Journey

Lea Salonga，1971年2月22日出生于菲律宾的马尼拉。她作为菲律宾歌手和演员，曾经获得Tony奖。她最为人乐道的演出是在音乐剧《西贡小姐》中扮演女主角Kim。在歌剧界，没有其他的菲律宾歌手比她享有更高的国际声誉。她在《西贡小姐》中的演出为她赢得很多国际奖项。她还分别为经典迪斯尼动画片《花木兰(Mulan)》和《阿拉丁(Aladin)》配唱主题歌 "Reflection”和"A Whole New world”。

她是第一个在百老汇的音乐剧《Les Misérables》中扮演Eponine这个角色的亚洲人。后来又被安排出演《Les Misérables》中最有悲剧色彩的人物Fantine。在2006年的多哈亚运会闭幕式上，她演唱了《我们共同的胜利》（Triumph of the one）。
